HOW TO MEASURE FOR THE CORRECT FIT

Please note: Comfort-Truss is designed to fit tight, and you might need to stretch the waist strap up to five inches to get it fastened when you first receive it. It will break in and stretch a bit over time.

Most hernia belts are bulky, uncomfortable, and not designed for people who want to stay active or manage their hernia naturally. Comfort-Truss was created by someone who couldn’t find a belt that worked — so he made one that does. It’s lightweight, low profile, and supportive enough to wear all day, whether you’re waiting for surgery or pursuing natural recovery.

That really comes down to personal preference. I (George) personally wear the single-side hernia belt because I prefer to keep things as minimal as possible and avoid wearing anything more than I need. The single belt also allows for more targeted compression directly over the hernia, which usually makes it more effective at holding it in.

That said, plenty of people still choose the double-side hernia belt even with a hernia on just one side. Some like the way it feels more balanced from one side to the other, while others wear it as a preventative measure in case a hernia ever develops on the opposite side. It won’t cause any harm to go that route, but just keep in mind the double is a bit bulkier due to the extra leg strap and the wider front pad that covers both sides.

Yes, it was deigned to be worn under your underwear against the skin. This will give the best support, and also allow you to keep it on at all times throughout the day, even while using the toilet.

The solution I needed
I was feeling scared and depressed when I happened on George’s site. I had been diagnosed with an inguinal hernia on one side. I ordered the minimialist truss and watched his Youtube videos. The truss is incredibly comfortable, just as he predicted and just exactly what I needed to give me a feeling of security, hope and support. There is nothing I can do about having developed a hernia but the truss really helps. I don't want to rush into having surgery without trying this first. I appreciate totally his understanding of what works and am following the exercise regime as well. Thankyou so much George.

Pre-surgery Support
I'm leaving on a trip to Europe for a month to do some hiking and wanted a truss belt that could give me good support until I get back for my surgical repair. I leave next week, but have had a chance to try the truss for a week with some local hikes and eliptical workouts. The truss fits great and has helped with my hernia condition. By the end of the day when I remove the truss, I have minimal buldge and discomfort from the day's activities.
