Provides Extra Pressure
I ordered the 1/2" extra thickness pad with my first Comfort-Truss. It seems to help keep hernia in place better by adding a bit of extra pressure. So, I'll keep using it.
Only issue I note with the pad is that it is a little difficult to fit into the Comfort-Truss pouch. The pouch seems to be a little undersized for the pad.

Review Thickness Pads
I like to add the thickness pads to all my orders , they provide extra support directly to the hernia area and allows for a super secure feeling and added padding in the sensitive area of the hernia . I also get the support straps which help keep the belt in place which is great if your active or swimming and biking

Great device
I love it. Fitz tight stays in place flexible my only concern is durability. Taking it off and putting it on time after time I'm just concerned with the velcro holding up.
