3/8″ Thick Pad for Comfort-Truss Single Side
Swap out your standard 1/4″ thick pad with a larger 3/8″ (9.525mm) pad to customize your Comfort-Truss fit!
- Additional information
When you buy a Comfort-Truss, it comes standard with 1/4″ (6.35mm) pad already installed. Sometimes, depending on the shape of your body or the amount of outward pressure that your hernia produces, you might feel the need for a thicker pad. There is an opening in the top of the pad pocket of the Comfort-Truss to allow you to swap out the stock pad with other sizes. This is the 3/8 (9.525mm) version. This will work on both left or right single side Comfort-Truss in any size.

Single Side Comfort-Truss in any size.
Good, once fitted into the pocket on the support. I had some difficulty doing this. Mind you I had to do it with one hand, due to a stroke, although I have got basic grip in the other which helped. Perhaps a slightly bigger pocket would be better although too big and the pad could come out? Or perhaps have this size as standard.
I ordered the 3/8 inch and 1/2 inch pads and I use the 1/2 inch pad when I’m at work and physically active. The 3/8 inch pad I use when I’m hanging out at home or doing light chores around the house. Both provide great support.
I’m an active 48 year old guy, and noticed a right groin ache and bulging after doing some planks in my home gym... in New York on COVID19 lockdown so not really interested in getting this surgically corrected any time soon. Plus, I’m a medical minimalist when it comes to procedures. Fortunately my wife found this - it’s a game changer. I can continue all of my activities without missing a beat. Get one and try it for yourself!
I like the support of this pad, so I think it should probably be the default instead of the 1/4" one.
Like the standard pad the material compressed easily after use. Also it bulge outwards of the truss.Overall the truss was very comfortable with both the standard pad as well as the 3/8" pad.
