Most hernia belts are bulky, uncomfortable, and not designed for people who want to stay active or manage their hernia naturally. Comfort-Truss was created by someone who couldn’t find a belt that worked, so he made one that does. It’s lightweight, low profile, and supportive enough to wear all day, whether you’re waiting for surgery or pursuing natural recovery.

That really comes down to personal preference. I (George) personally wear the single-side hernia belt because I prefer to keep things as minimal as possible and avoid wearing anything more than I need. The single belt also allows for more targeted compression directly over the hernia, which usually makes it more effective at holding it in.

That said, plenty of people still choose the double-side hernia belt even with a hernia on just one side. Some like the way it feels more balanced from one side to the other, while others wear it as a preventative measure in case a hernia ever develops on the opposite side. It won’t cause any harm to go that route, but just keep in mind the double is a bit bulkier due to the extra leg strap and the wider front pad that covers both sides.

Yes, iComfort-Truss Minimalist was deigned to be worn under your underwear against the skin. This will give the best support, and also allow you to keep it on at all times throughout the day, even while using the toilet.

    Very easy to understand and helped during and after run.

    I was pleased with how easy it was to understand and adjust. I did put the truss over the outside of very thin tight fitting runners Hanes boxer style briefs. I had to adjust the boys a bit to get in comfort zone. I stretched and walked for ten minutes getting used to the pressure and ride of the truss. I then ran 4.05 miles in 35 min. and the material had just the right pressure for me where I have a sports hernia. I stretched lightly afterward and removed device. I waited an hour and then evaluated that I did not have discomfort while running that I had experienced over last 6 months running. I also had much less pain and tightness after the run in that area due to the support received while exercising. I will reevaluate as the days and months pass. I may order the HD to help with strength conditioning now that I know that this is a quality product. I lightly soaped and rinsed the truss in cold water after use and hung to dry. The neoprene seems quality but we shall see!!! Happy so far!

    Amazing Hernia Belt

    I am from Malaysia. I have been having inguinal hernia for almost two years now. I love doing pull ups, chin ups and push up and also hanging side crunches. After finding out that I have hernia, I had to stop everything that causes core stress. I had to lose all my work out gains and I am in my fifties. I found George's hernia cure videos and tried some of the exercises for a few months but I gave up because I felt there was no progress. However my hernia remained mild as it originally was. I took care not to strain my lower abdomen. I bought a different hernia belt and was not comfortable wearing it after few weeks. Almost two years now, and finally I bought Comfort Truss hernia belt and it's so comfortable just like wearing an underwear. I am really glad that I made this decision. Although it's expensive in terms of currency exchange, but it allows me to start doing my workout. Thank you George for your self healing hernia cure videos and the wonderful hernia belt. I am getting another belt soon.

    Comfort and Support

    I have had hernia surgery years ago and it is now back with the bulging through happening right along the surgery line. This belt hits the spot perfectly and supports as advertised. Sizing was accurate and the belt is comfortable enough to wear all day, and I mean all day. I put it on when I get up in the mornning and take it off before bed. Very good product and design.
