FAQs

Comfort-Truss is designed for reducible inguinal hernias, both direct or indirect.

Most hernia belts are bulky, uncomfortable, and not designed for people who want to stay active or manage their hernia naturally. Comfort-Truss was created by someone who couldn’t find a belt that worked, so he made one that does. It’s lightweight, low profile, and supportive enough to wear all day, whether you’re waiting for surgery or pursuing natural recovery.

That really comes down to personal preference. I (George) personally wear the single-side hernia belt because I prefer to keep things as minimal as possible and avoid wearing anything more than I need. The single belt also allows for more targeted compression directly over the hernia, which usually makes it more effective at holding it in.

That said, plenty of people still choose the double-side hernia belt even with a hernia on just one side. Some like the way it feels more balanced from one side to the other, while others wear it as a preventative measure in case a hernia ever develops on the opposite side. It won’t cause any harm to go that route, but just keep in mind the double is a bit bulkier due to the extra leg strap and the wider front pad that covers both sides.

Yes, iComfort-Truss Minimalist was deigned to be worn under your underwear against the skin. This will give the best support, and also allow you to keep it on at all times throughout the day, even while using the toilet.

View our instructions page for info about how to correctly put on and take off the Comfort-Truss.

Comfort-Truss is designed with a minimalist approach that works well for most people, as reflected in our customer reviews. However, every hernia is different. In some cases, the hernia may be too advanced or internal pressure too great for our minimalist design to provide the desired support.

Because of this, we believe it would be misleading to guarantee that Comfort-Truss will work for everyone. While many people find relief using it, we do not offer a universal guarantee on the product.

We do not recommend wearing the Comfort-Truss while sleeping.

Yes, it will. Many women have used Comfort-Truss successfully, and several have left 5-star reviews sharing their positive experiences. You can find their feedback by browsing the product reviews on our site.

    Heavy duty double hernia belt

I've tried many hernia belts of various prices. By far the Comfort trust is the sturdiest, most durable and highest quality and value of any brand belt I have used.!! Best service and fastest delivery as is humanly possible ! Highly recommend this product and company !

    Heavy duty double hernia belt

Tried a cheaper version from a different company first and it helped a little. I came across this style, the reviews were good, I liked the concept, so I figured I would give it a try even though I thought the price was quite steep. I find it difficult to get it adjusted properly and to keep it in place, I am a smaller guy and I have no hips so it's been difficult to keep it in place, it doesn't appear to hold us tightly as I would like, still having issues with it coming out through the bottom, then it becomes very discomforting, I realize we're trying to put lipstick on a pig here, but nonetheless I tried, a little more if an investment then I would like to make for something you're not sure will work. May be a good fit for many people, but for me it's not working well.

Praying this belt would be the one...

I don't find this to be any better than the 30 dollar belts that I've purchased on Amazon and certainly less comfortable.

I really wanted this to be the belt I could use that would keep me from ultimately having to get surgery, which is why I spent 3 times the cost for this one .

I've struggled for about 6 years with these hernias(working a construction job, of all things) but now I think it's time.

I'd return it but wouldn't want anyone getting something that my privates were touching.
