Please note: Comfort-Truss is designed to fit tight, and you might need to stretch the waist strap up to five inches to get it fastened when you first receive it. It will break in and stretch a bit over time.

Comfort-Truss is designed for reducible inguinal hernias, both direct or indirect.

That really comes down to personal preference. I (George) personally wear the single-side hernia belt because I prefer to keep things as minimal as possible and avoid wearing anything more than I need. The single belt also allows for more targeted compression directly over the hernia, which usually makes it more effective at holding it in.

That said, plenty of people still choose the double-side hernia belt even with a hernia on just one side. Some like the way it feels more balanced from one side to the other, while others wear it as a preventative measure in case a hernia ever develops on the opposite side. It won’t cause any harm to go that route, but just keep in mind the double is a bit bulkier due to the extra leg strap and the wider front pad that covers both sides.

Yes, it was deigned to be worn under your underwear against the skin. This will give the best support, and also allow you to keep it on at all times throughout the day, even while using the toilet.

Useful Belt

Few years ago I purchased 2 Comfort-Truss belts for my Inguinal Hernis. Both belts served me well. Placed my second order for 2 more days ago. This belt works... Is it perfect? well almost.... Can it use improved modifications for comfort and support.,Perhaps, I am sure it can. However, Comfort-Truss is far superior to any other belt I researched on line and elsewhere. Is this belt designed by a company owner that is also a customer? Yes? Does he know our grief? Most likely yes....Is the Comfort Truss belt offering a solution? Yes. Is it the total only answer, well, no. Does Comfort-Truss portal/emails offer insight to lead you to your more possible solutions? Yes. Am I a happier camper with the Comfort-Truss verus without the Comfort-Truss-Yes. Does my saga continue-Well-Yes but with way less discomfort and noticeable in my case self healing.

Minimalist is what I use

The harness is amazingly comfortable and seems to keep the hernia from popping too far out. My main problem is the Velcro for the main bel — it doesn’t hold after several months — I guess I shouldn’t complain, because it did hold for 6 months.
