I was a sceptic when looking for anything that could help me keep mobile after a "dormant" hernia bulge erupted while working on my farm when I lifted a very heavy fence panel. After a bilateral inguinal surgery with mesh 10 years ago, I was not in favor of another surgery on top on the one I already had. I needed something that would stabilize the area without impeding my mobility or creating abrasions in an area that was already sensitive.
I ordered a Comfort -Truss along with thicker pads as I knew it would be necessary to hold in the hernia. When I opened the package and felt the material I knew then, this is the one. It did not feel like sand paper or rough on my skin. It has really helped me not to be in pain or sore at night after wearing it nearly all day long. I'm a fan. I have bought additional comfort trusses to keep them in rotation while I hand wash and dry the worn pairs.
Nobody notices I'm wearing a truss since it is not bulky or in need of adjusting while stooping or walking without having my hand holding on the hernia. No more embarrassing moments or sudden jerks when the hernia makes it's presence known. It stay in place thanks to the pads and secure belt.
Thank you so very much for developing a usable and comfortable truss that I have no issues wearing.

The comfort truss comes with a quarter inch pad. That works, apparently, if you’re slender. I have a traditional build so needed a bit more. The upgrade to half inch pad worked well.

It is too stiff. Very different from the original pad that come with the belt.

It’s better than the 1/4”pad that comes with the truss, which doesn’t seem like enough to me. I also purchased the 1/2” pad, which is the one I use. It’s the best.
