Comfort-Truss Community Ambassador Program

Community Ambassador Program Guidelines

Thank you for helping people navigate one of the most confusing and stressful periods of living with a hernia.

These guidelines explain how the program works, what we look for when reviewing contributions, and how we keep the community honest, useful, and fair.

These guidelines are intended to provide clear expectations, but they cannot cover every possible situation. As the community grows, we may update them from time to time to keep the program fair, helpful, and aligned with its original mission.

Our Philosophy

Many people diagnosed with a hernia do not know where to turn. They search online looking for answers, reassurance, and guidance from people who have already been through the experience.

Help people first.

We are not interested in creating more advertisements. We are interested in creating more helpful conversations.

If someone is genuinely helped and later discovers Comfort-Truss because of that conversation, that is a great outcome. But helping people always comes first.

We believe that when people are genuinely helped, good business follows naturally.

What We're Looking For

We do not score submissions based on length, likes, reach, or the size of your audience.

When reviewing a submission, we come back to one simple question:

The question behind every review
Did this genuinely help someone?

Strong contributions often do one or more of the following:

  • Answer a question clearly.
  • Share a relevant personal experience.
  • Offer encouragement to someone who is struggling.
  • Explain something useful that you have learned.
  • Correct misinformation respectfully.
  • Point someone toward useful educational information.
  • Share your experience with a hernia support belt when it is relevant.

Examples of Qualifying Contributions

Qualifying contributions can appear in many places. The platform matters much less than the value you add to the conversation.

Answering a real question

You respond to someone asking about working, exercising, traveling, sleeping, or managing daily life with a hernia.

Sharing personal experience

You explain what you experienced, what you learned, or what helped you personally without presenting it as universal advice.

Offering meaningful encouragement

You help someone who is worried or overwhelmed feel less alone and more informed about their options.

Correcting misinformation

You respectfully clarify a misleading claim and provide helpful context without insulting or attacking anyone.

Explaining product experience

When relevant, you honestly describe your experience using a hernia support belt, including both strengths and limitations.

Directing someone to useful information

You provide context and point someone toward an educational resource that may help answer their question.

Contributions may include helpful Facebook posts or replies, Reddit comments, YouTube comments, forum responses, blog discussions, social media conversations, and responses inside relevant community groups.

Each submission should be your own original contribution and should add meaningful value to the conversation.

What Usually Doesn't Qualify

A comment does not qualify simply because it mentions hernias or Comfort-Truss. It must genuinely contribute something useful.

Low-effort replies

One-word responses, generic agreement, emojis, or comments that do not meaningfully move the conversation forward.

Copied or repeated content

Copy-and-paste responses, repeated comments, or substantially identical replies posted across multiple conversations.

Unedited AI-generated comments

Generic AI-written responses that do not reflect your own voice, knowledge, experience, or thoughtful involvement in the discussion.

Promotion without value

Product links, sales pitches, or recommendations that do not address the person's actual question or situation.

Medical claims presented as fact

Diagnosing someone, promising outcomes, or instructing a person to avoid professional medical care.

Arguments and disrespect

Insults, hostility, harassment, personal attacks, or comments that create more conflict than help.

Our goal is not to reward the most comments. It is to reward the most helpful comments.

Sharing Your Experience

The most valuable thing you bring to the program is your own experience.

You may talk about:

  • What you learned.
  • What helped you personally.
  • Challenges you faced.
  • Mistakes you made.
  • Questions you had.
  • What you wish someone had told you earlier.
  • How you adapted work, exercise, travel, or daily activities.

People usually connect with honest, personal experience more than polished marketing language.

Mentioning Comfort-Truss

You are not expected to recommend Comfort-Truss in every conversation.

When our products are genuinely relevant, it is perfectly appropriate to describe your personal experience with them.

When they are not relevant, do not force the conversation in that direction. Some of the most valuable contributions may not mention Comfort-Truss at all.

Helping the person is always more important than mentioning the company.

Honest Opinions Matter

We value honesty over promotion.

Community Ambassadors should never exaggerate, make claims they do not believe, hide relevant details, or say positive things simply to earn rewards.

If you have constructive criticism or an honest experience to share about Comfort-Truss, we respect that. A balanced contribution may acknowledge both what worked well and what did not.

However, contributions that are intentionally misleading, unfairly damaging, made in bad faith, or designed primarily to harm the reputation of Comfort-Truss or another member of the community will not qualify for rewards.

Honest conversations build trust. Dishonest or bad-faith conversations weaken the entire community.

Medical Information

Community Ambassadors share personal experience. They do not diagnose conditions, prescribe treatments, or replace professional medical care.

Avoid statements such as:

  • “This will heal your hernia.”
  • “You don't need surgery.”
  • “This always works.”
  • “Your doctor is wrong.”

Use experience-based language:

  • “In my experience...”
  • “This is what helped me...”
  • “Everyone's situation is different...”
  • “You may want to discuss that with your doctor...”

Honest personal experiences can be helpful. Medical promises and definitive claims can be misleading and potentially harmful.

Respect Matters

Treat every person with patience and respect, even when they disagree with you.

  • Avoid arguments and personal attacks.
  • Do not insult or embarrass people.
  • Do not pressure anyone to purchase a product.
  • Avoid unrelated political or divisive discussions.
  • Respect differences in medical decisions and personal circumstances.

Not every conversation needs to end with someone changing their mind. Sometimes clearly and respectfully sharing your experience is enough.

How Contributions Are Reviewed

Every submission is reviewed by a real member of the Comfort-Truss team.

1

You Submit

Send us a link through your personalized contribution form.

2

Human Review

We review the full context of the conversation.

3

Decision

The contribution is approved or declined based on these guidelines.

4

Reward Progress

Approved contributions count toward your next reward.

We consider:

  • Helpfulness
  • Relevance
  • Authenticity
  • Originality
  • Accuracy and responsible wording
  • The full context of the conversation
  • Overall quality

If a submission is not approved, please do not take it personally. Not every interaction will qualify, and our review process exists to preserve a high standard for the program.

Because every conversation is different, not every situation can be covered by these guidelines. We reserve the right to use reasonable judgment when reviewing submissions to ensure rewards are given in the spirit of the program, not merely the letter of the rules.

How Rewards Work

3 approved contributions
$100

in Comfort-Truss store credit

There is no limit to how much store credit you can earn.

Approved contributions carry forward toward future rewards. They do not expire or reset each quarter.

Store credit can be used toward eligible Comfort-Truss products, including products purchased for yourself, a family member, or a friend.

Store credit has no cash value and cannot be redeemed or exchanged for cash.

Program Integrity

The value of this program depends on ambassadors participating honestly and in good faith.

We reserve the right to reject submissions that:

  • Violate these guidelines.
  • Are false, misleading, or materially incomplete.
  • Are copied from another person or source.
  • Are submitted more than once.
  • Repeat substantially the same contribution in multiple places.
  • Misrepresent your personal experience.
  • Are primarily promotional rather than helpful.
  • Use deceptive engagement, fake accounts, or fabricated conversations.
  • Are intentionally damaging, retaliatory, or made primarily in bad faith.
  • Attempt to exploit a technical loophole in the program.

Repeated or serious violations may result in declined submissions, forfeited rewards, suspension, or removal from the Community Ambassador Program.

The program is designed to reward genuine help—not activity created solely for the purpose of earning store credit.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I have to mention Comfort-Truss?

No. Only mention Comfort-Truss when it is genuinely relevant to the person's question or situation. Some approved contributions may not mention the company at all.

Can I submit more than three contributions?

Absolutely. Approved contributions continue accumulating toward future rewards. Every time you reach three additional approved contributions, you earn another $100 in store credit.

Can one conversation generate multiple approved contributions?

Yes, but only when each submission provides new, meaningful value and could reasonably stand on its own as a helpful response.

For example, if someone asks three substantially different questions and you provide three thoughtful, independent answers, those responses may qualify separately.

However, multiple short replies that continue the same point, divide one answer into several comments, repeat information, or merely keep the conversation going will generally be treated as one contribution.

A back-and-forth exchange does not automatically create a new qualifying contribution each time you reply.

Our goal is to reward additional meaningful help—not to encourage a single answer or discussion to be divided into multiple submissions.

Can multiple conversations under the same original post qualify?

Potentially. Separate responses to different people may qualify when each response addresses a distinct question or situation and provides meaningful, individualized help.

Repeating the same answer to several people, however, will not necessarily create several approved contributions.

Can I use AI to help write a response?

AI may be used as a writing aid, but the final response must reflect your own experience, judgment, and voice.

Generic, unedited, mass-produced, or inaccurate AI-generated responses will not qualify.

Can I share criticism or a negative experience with Comfort-Truss?

Yes. We value honest, balanced experiences and do not require ambassadors to say only positive things.

Constructive criticism or an honest description of something that did not work well for you may still qualify when it is accurate, fair, relevant, and intended to help the person receiving it.

Content that is knowingly false, intentionally misleading, retaliatory, unfairly damaging, or created primarily to harm the company will not qualify.

What happens if a submission isn't approved?

It simply will not count toward your reward total. Not every interaction will qualify, and one declined submission does not prevent you from submitting future contributions.

How long does review take?

Most submissions are reviewed within a few business days. Review times may occasionally be longer depending on submission volume or the amount of context required.

Can store credit be transferred?

Store credit may be used to purchase eligible products for yourself, family members, or friends. It cannot be sold, redeemed for cash, or exchanged for cash.

Program Terms

Participation in the Comfort-Truss Community Ambassador Program is subject to approval and is offered at the discretion of Comfort-Truss.

  • Store credit is promotional, has no cash value, and cannot be exchanged or redeemed for cash.
  • Rewards may not be sold, duplicated, fraudulently obtained, or used in violation of applicable store policies.
  • Comfort-Truss may correct errors involving approvals, reward balances, duplicate transactions, or improperly issued credit.

Whenever practical, material program changes will be communicated to active ambassadors.
