1/2 inch PADS are GREAT
the extra thick work great in that they hold the bulge inside your gut where it belongs. For me it works best if I lay down and use soft pressure to let the hernia go back through the hole it came out and then tighten the belt, so it stays flat all the while it is on.

Extra help for my inguinal hernia
I was having some discomfort still from the standard pad that comes with the minimal truss and George recommended the thicker pad - its worked. I feel less insecure about what's happening down there. Also doing the exercises when I can that he recommends on his Youtube videos. I don't know if its all working but I haven't had a flare up since. I just don't want to have surgery if I can help it. Excellent and continuing help and advice from this company, I'm grateful they are there.
